Walking down the hall, I wondered why he always chose me. I was the second best student in the class. Why didn't he choose the best? I shrugged, never knowing the answer, but begging for it. I open the door to the class room and everyone stares at me, including the teacher. "Sorry to disturb, but Mr.-" I was cut off. "Right. Here you go." The teacher said and handed me a Videocassette. A Bond Stronger Than MostMy heart is heavy with regret. My sould weeping for the dead. My mind racing and asking why. My feelings crushed with my dreams. I stand there, my friendship ring cold. I look at the coffin with the little ring on top. "I'm sorry about the fights and ignorance. I wish you knew." A tear falls down my cheek, meeting the grass. I stand in the rain, alone with the coffin. No one showed to the funeral. No one cared enough. "I've always been there for you and, I still am."
